Happy 4th birthday, Southern Home Bakery!
Y’all, what a wild year! Of course, this was the case for all of you, as well and your support of this business has meant even more to me this past year! It has been so special to see Southern Home Bakery continue to grow and my team rally around this dream of mine, even in the thick of it. They are truly the best and most creative women and have brought so much joy and laughter to this bake and GOSH do we need laughter. I feel so strongly about creating memories on the ordinary days of life and getting to create cookies for you as you celebrate with your people is such a joy for us!
In her 4th little year of life, Southern Home Bakery is growing! Praise God! The cookies are still the shining star, but there is so much more happening and we are excited! In regards to that creative team of mine, have you seen the mural? I can’t believe SHB has a mural outside our very own walls! We’d love for you to come by and see her in all of her glory. Our cookie decorator, Sarah, absolutely outdid herself!
Our gourmet cookies have also received a serious glow-up! We have recently launched new flavors like Coconut Key Lime and Peanut Butter Cup and revamped the favorites, Triple Chocolate Chip and Snickerdoodle. More gourmet cookie flavors are in the works along with other southern desserts too! We are excited to soon be offering Lemon Bars, Mud Brownies and 7 Layer Cookies - just to name a few!

If you’ve been in SHB lately, you may have noticed some changes to the front of the bakery. Very soon, we will have our very own boutique right in the front of SHB! If you’ve ever wanted a platter or basket to arrange your cookies beautifully and round out a hostess gift, shower present or thoughtful gift for a friend, this is for you! We will offer gift wrap and all the pretty things to accompany your favorites from Southern Home Bakery. We cannot wait to invite you to shop at the Bake, coming this fall!
Truthfully, SHB is so much sweeter than I hoped back in 2017 when this business was just a dream. Getting to bake and create for you, our clients in College Park and beyond is such a gift. Thank you for inviting us into your home and celebrations.
